Your Dreamy Montana Wedding

I can’t say enough about Last Resort Weddings. The space is perfect for a smaller venue. With 7 bedrooms, 4 baths, and 2 full kitchens the place is perfect for 18 people to stay on the property. The wrap-around deck and walk-out basement provide great outside space. The views all the way around the property are absolutely breathtaking. Our Wedding Day was absolutely perfect!

time together

A whole weekend experience

When you find Last Resort, it quickly becomes your first choice for one of the biggest days of your life.  Intimate weddings give the gift of time together and we accommodate that through securing your whole weekend, the whole space, the whole time just for you and your guests.  Check-in on Friday, and the entire property is yours through Sunday. The only pass-through traffic to worry about are the birds, deer, and elk, that may snoop or say hello.  Once you arrive, you won’t want to leave.  It will literally be your last stop.  Hit the grocery store on the way, bring your favorite beverages, snacks, and meals because this home, its 2 kitchens, large accommodations, and its surrounding areas will be everything you’ve wanted or will need.  You can literally walk out the door and onto the national forest floor for a walk, hike, or adventure.  Have a fire – indoor or outdoor! If you don’t feel like cooking, we have great local restaurants close by.  Come, stay, play and celebrate your day… all weekend long.

All of your Wedding Activities here

Rehearsal dinner

Host your rehearsal and dinner right on site.  We have 2 kitchens and an outdoor grill to make it simple and easy.  Or, have it catered from one of our amazing local restaurants.

Nature’s got most of the decorations covered.  Montana is referred to as ‘God’s country’ for it’s awe-inspiring backdrops.  Your ceremony will feel storybook.

Last Resort is tastefully decorated with a modern Montana mountain theme.  Your reception can be indoors with scenic views of the outdoors or it can be outdoor with plenty of space to play and celebrate.

outdoor activities

Right outside our door, you can walk or hike into beautiful national forest.  Take a scenic drive over the renowned Beartooth Pass or spend a day in Yellowstone National Park.

What is the road like into the forest?

It is a “mountain” road so very bumpy and steep in a few places.  It’s totally accessible from Spring to Fall.  There isn’t a lot of signage so you may want to place more signs to guide your guests.

Are there tables, chairs and tents available?

No, but you can rent them in Billings.

What is the parking like?

It’s limited, but doable for the amount of guests we can accommodate.  Recommending car pooling or having a valet parking service or team would be two great options.

What is available in the kitchen(s) to use?

We have a full kitchen with enough plates, glasses, etc… for 18 people.  We have several serving platters as well. Appliances include a full size refrigerator, gas stove and dishwasher in both main cabin and the apartment above garage.

Is there air conditioning?

There is air conditioning in the main cabin.  The apartment above garage has a whole house fan.

What are the check in/check out times?

Check in time is 3pm.  Check out is 12pm.  You can have the whole place from 3pm on Friday to 12pm on Sunday!

Can we use candles, confetti and fireworks?

No fireworks allowed. Confetti outside and candles are great!
